A true mom and pop shop, the owners are amazing people that immediately felt like friends. I watched Luca make my pasta from scratch and Stefania welcomed me like a local. If you find yourself in the Ridley Park area of Philly this is the spot. Ill come back here anytime Im back in town for work. ”

“ Lucas Cucina is one of the most amazing family owned Italian ristorante that is off the grid.. you must try the food if you havent already !!! The gnocchis are made fresh daily!! Serving sizes are more than enough , in my honest opinion I think the owners are under charging for the proportions you get! Tonight I got the spaghetti scoglio I couldnt have been any more satisfied. As I rushed to write this review I saw another written by Chris ONeill who said the sauce taste like ketchup first off I can attest to the sauce not coming anywhere close to the taste of ketchup .. BUTTTT this is also a guy who left a 5 star review for Bertuccis ... clearly he prefers frozen meals over fresh. ”

“ We tried Lucas for the first time tonight, and I wish we had found it sooner! They were a little busy, but they were honest up front that it would be a little bit of a wait to prepare our meals, which I greatly appreciated. When I arrived to pick up, the owners were so incredibly nice and welcoming. They even offered me an espresso! The food was delicious...will definitely order here again...and again....and again! ”

“ Morton isnt anywhere near my trajectory on the way home from work. Nor would I expect it to be home to one of the best chicken cutlets Ive ever had. Lucas Cucina was recommended to me by a good soul who knows I appreciate a good cutlet. This is a newer spot, maybe open less than two years. The menu is compact there arent a thousand options to choose from. Its a good thing and allows for the kitchen to execute precisely and consistently. Chicken Milanese with gnocchi was my choice for the evening. The cutlet was fried perfectly not greasy at all. It wasnt overly salted or spiced. The crispy edges couldnt have been better. The arugula and shaved parm tossed in balsamic balanced everything out. The gnocchi were very well done. They almost looked like little scallops in the red sauce. Next time Ill go with the pesto. Its takeout only. I was starving, so I downed the whole thing in the SEPTA parking lot. Maybe next time Ill hit a local park up and find a shady spot. Highly recommend! ”

“ This place is the hidden gem of Delco! Some of the most authentic and generous portions of Italian food Ive had in the area. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. I highly recommend the meatballs and arincini as an app and the Cacio e Pepe as the entree. Ive honestly never had an off meal from here. Besides the phenomenal taste and friendly staff the prices are so reasonable. 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts cost me around 60 and I got the more expensive entrees! I would put this place up there with any of the top Italian spots in the city Ive eaten at all of them. ”
